Identity connects us, so Signal uses its ongoing Signalite Social Spotlight to feature our incredible employees for who they really are. The more you learn about them, the more you’ll begin to recognize what makes our favorite individuals unique. Can you identify?
Tiago Moura (or, to some, T-Moneygton). Software Testing Engineer. Former journalist, currently a “passionate programmer.”
Age: 32. Naperville but lived in Atlanta, GA for most of his life. Relationship status: Partnered for 10 years. Random talent: “I can carry on three conversations at once! People don’t think I’m listening, but I am.”
Interests: Videogames, tabletop games, ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,’ listening to Radiohead and canoeing on the Chicago River. “I’ve lived in mostly urban places, so most of my interests revolve around that. I love to walk around the city and go to the beach when I can.”
Biggest Pet Peeve: “I really dislike when you’re in a large group talking and everyone goes silent at once and the awkwardness of you being the only one still talking. I try to avoid it at all costs.”
Would he rather never drink anything besides water again or never eat anything cooked again? “I’d prefer having to drink only water. I’ve known people on raw diets and they’re not happy about it. I need more variety in my food than in my drink. I’m very food-focused.”
What Tiago is best known for at Signal: “I’m really cautious and challenge assumptions in order to spot any problems and prevent any software issues we might face. It’s really important to me that things are done right and that all of the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed.”
