Identity connects us, so Signal uses its ongoing Signalite Social Spotlight to feature our incredible employees for who they really are. The more you learn about them, the more you’ll begin to recognize what makes our favorite individuals unique. Can you identify?
Jennifer Sullivan, a.k.a. Jen, Jenny or Sully. Account Director. Considers herself friendly and “The unofficial greeter at Signal.” Loves to laugh. Excels at accents and quoting “Saturday Night Live” sketches. Dreams of being a voiceover actress.
Hometown: Arlington Heights, IL, but currently lives in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. University of Dayton grad. Remembers random facts about friends and family (like her best friend’s childhood phone number).
Interests and passions: Cooking and entertaining for family and friends (“I love comfort food and am working to make the perfect roasted chicken”); attending concerts (“This summer I’ve gone to Taylor Swift, Jimmy Buffett, Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, Trombone Shorty and Jason Mraz”); walking amongst Lake Michigan and Chicago neighborhoods; going to Cubs and Blackhawks games; golfing (“I’m striving to perfect my game.”)
Dislikes: People who put the toilet paper under instead of over; mushrooms; the StairMaster.
Would she rather live a relaxed and tranquil life in a small cabin far from society or live a stressful life in a huge house in the middle of her favorite city?: “The latter, because that’s what I do now. I really want a balance of both — I love going to northern Wisconsin and escaping the city once in a while.”
What she likes most about working at Signal: “I love being able to collaborate the various teams to define processes and templates that translate the value Signal can bring to our clients to help them achieve their goals. I also enjoy being an active member of the Signal Wine Club.”
