Mad Men & Math Men Talk Data in Spain

March 31, 2014

cropIt’s been said that a single data scientist can potentially replace 20 media planners. If that’s the case, you won’t want to miss this week’s I-COM Global Summit in Seville, Spain – a pre-eminent gathering of Mad Men and Math Men, and a veritable brain trust of international digital data champions.

I-COM is a forum for exploring the realm of data and measurement issues facing marketers, with the goal of showcasing meaningful innovation, international co-operation and working toward consensus on best practices.

Taking place from March 31-April 3, this year’s event carries the theme of “Smart Data – the Consumer Matters.” Data scientists, data strategists, thought leaders and innovators – including Signal SVP James Sandoval – will take the stage over the course of the four days to discuss the increasingly critical role of data in the media and marketing space.

Hot topics that will be covered throughout the summit’s sessions include: using big data to influence business decisions; leveraging customer insights for cross-channel e-commerce; understanding the ins and outs of programmatic marketing; and measuring campaign success across touch points.

At 12:30 p.m. on April 2, James, Signal’s Managing Director of EMEA, will give a joint presentation with Michaela Petrikova, Digital Communications Controller at Emirates. James and Michaela will discuss how today’s marketers can start activating their customer data to establish one-to-one relationships with consumers – across channels, devices and data sources in real time. Don’t miss this talk!

Also be sure to join Signal on the evening of March 31, when we sponsor the I-COM welcome reception. We’ll kick things off at 7:30 p.m. with cocktails, dinner and great conversation. At the reception, you’ll also have a chance to meet Jonathan Ricard, our SVP of North America Sales.

See you in Seville!
